I would highly recommend JCD Computers for the quality of service and attention to detail that I received, both with the initial repair to my previous computer and eventually to the new computer that was built for me. In my opinon it is far better to have a machine that has been built to my specific needs than to buy off the shelf and JCD have delivered a system that is value for the money.

JCD COMPUTERS visited us in responce to a request for help in a number of problems with our DELL computer, he was very down to earth, and used plain language that we two old pentioners understood!! However it was immediatly obvious that he most certainly was an expert in his field. He didnt try to sell us a new computer, but took our PC away to his workshop and gave it a full service, updated and increased memory, fitted a new CD ROM drive and returned the PC to us and gave us a most detailed lesson in transfering data and backing up programmes. To whom it may concern. I first contacted John @ JCD computer Systems back in April 2005, the reason for my visit was due to a virus which i had recieved on my PC from a spureous email, with the lack of support from a number of so called, "Reputable retailers!" in our area, i decided to contact JCD to see what they could do. Well the result was a cleaned, upgraded and a faster working PC within 24 hours and whats more, all at a very reasonable price. Pleased with JCD's previous efforts, I contacted John again as this time I had managed to succesfully wipe my hard drive with any possible means of repair, or so i thought. Calling at 8pm on a Thursday night i thought i was going to hear an answer phone message, but not JCD, the phone was picked up within 4 rings and i was assured that all would be done to fix the problem, NO FIX, NO FEE, how can i lose. Okay a little bit too enthusiatic you may think, but for the record, this is the second time JCD have saved my bacon and this time my Phoenix really did rise from the ashes and as this is for the record. JCD offer a fast turnaround, give honest advice, are very well priced and offer an excellent back up service, whats more, theirs a human at the end of the phone. I would highly recomment JCD to any individual or business wishing to look for a company who believes in honest service and would wish JCD every success for the future

WOW! Thank you sooo much... John has just been round to install my new computer and printer which were still in their packaging I'm that much of a technophobe. He has set up everything, e-mail, passwords, different settings for different users and through it all explained it in language that even I can understand (no mean feat). About three weeks ago,after watching my old PC take its usual 15 minutes or so to start up I decided enough was enough and it was time to replace the old girl!So I did the usual, trawling around the Currys,Comet and PC World type outlets and (after getting no, shall we say knowledgable help)believe me,I need help when it comes to computers!! I decided to ask assistance from a friend. She advised me to go to the Dell web site where we sorted a system that we felt would suit my needs,my only worry was installing a new system with my internet and e:mail connections transferred and the thought of dealing with a "faceless" company over the telephone,my friend then said that she had recently used JCD to carry out a repair to her system and that she had received a prompt and efficient service so it may be worth giving John a call,which I did.............................end of my worries!!! From the moment I called I was given top advice on which system would be good for me,including printer, monitor and software. I was impressed with John's enthusiasm and knowledgable help. I placed my order with him for my new system on Wednesday 18th February'04 he told me it would be ready by the middle of the next week which was agreed.I then received another call on the evening of Friday 20th Feb,It was John telling me my system was ready and could he call the next day to install!! What service! He called Saturday (21st) installed my system explaining everything as he went along, connected my Internet and e:mail then proceeded to give my wife and I a guided tour of the computer and all the software, when he left he told us to ring him if we have any problems little or large,and I know in the short time I have known of John and his company that I made the right choice, by a long way, to use his services. For anyone reading this thinking of using his company I have two short words to say.........DO IT.

My computer suddenly decided that it wanted to place everything on my screen in a 'dreadful shade of pink/orange' very hard on the eyes! I had no idea what was wrong with it, only that I was unable to focus and made my eyes very sore. Knowing nothing about how computers worked, and new to this part of the country I set about trying to find someone who could repair it. Ah! Yellow Pages I thought - and then, who to choose. On calling them up, John Debono was most helpful in arranging to come around very shortly after and proceeded to set up my new computer and reconfigure my old one exactly as I needed them doing. The service I recieved was at the time arranged, and was done quickly and expertly, explaining all the way what was happening and why it needed doing at a level I could understand. A "by chance" problem that was probably caused by my new computer being non-standard was sorted out by a call to him and him coming out as soon as her could. My computer had developed many faults over the last few weeks and became unusable.I got thhis telephone number from the yellow pages with some trepidation because I had not been satisfied with my previous experience of a computer engineer. My PC was infected with several really nasty viruses that had caused a lot of damage. I looked at all the ads in the yellow pages, and had a good feeling about JCD computer systems (UK). In the past fourteen months I have twice been 'done' by so-called computer technicians, and when my machine crashed yet again, one final attempt was made to find a reliable and professional organisation before dumping the machine and taking up knitting. Picture the scene. 11am on a Saturday, off on holiday the next day. I switch on my computer but nothing happens: the word "failure" comes up on the screen. I feel sick. When did I back up last? Several weeks - maybe months - ago. I feel worse.
I start ringing around Computer Specialists but either receive no reply or number unobtainable. Then I ring JCD Computers. John answers and tells me not to do anything to the computer and to bring it around immediately. When I arrive, John performs specialist "magic" and retrieves all my data. "You are a very lucky lady", he tells me - and don't I know it! On return from holiday, my computer is waiting for me complete with data and all programs reinstalled. A year or so later, John inserts more RAM to make the machine work quicker.
Eighteen months later, I think it is time for a new laptop. I seek John's advice on Windows 7 and proceed to purchase. Trouble is, that most of my programs and now quite old and don't work very well with the new operating system. I take my new laptop to John. After half an hour, all the "niggles" I have are sorted with the ease of a true professional.
